Some designs begin with a trend. Others begin with a place. Our Cheddar Pink design was inspired by one of Somerset's most treasured wildflowers, the Cheddar Pink (Dianthus gratianopolitanus<\/em>). Known as Somerset's official county flower, it grows naturally along the limestone cliffs of the famous Cheddar Gorge, where its delicate pink blooms stand out against the rugged landscape. Although small and understated, the Cheddar Pink is a symbol of resilience, beauty, and a deep connection to nature. Its distinctive fringed petals and soft colour make it one of Britain's most recognisable native flowers. We wanted to capture that beauty in a simple, timeless design. By pairing a botanical illustration with the flower's scientific name, we've created a piece that celebrate Somerset's natural heritage in an elegant and wearable way. Available on our organic cotton tee in two styles scoop neck denim blue or crew neck navy blue, the Cheddar Pink design is perfect for nature lovers, botanical enthusiasts, and anyone who appreciates meaningful design inspired by the world around us.
